Overview of the 2006 Convergence

The 2006 Convergence, slated for June 29- July 2, 2006 at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, will be an unprecedented gathering of Presentation women and men from across North America. Its theme, “Walking One,” and the blue-and-white swirling cosmic logo, convey the energy of the coming together of Presentation Sisters and Associates to remember our heritage, celebrate our present, and anticipate our future through storytelling, prayer, socials, dreaming, reflecting and challenging one another. The main purpose of the Convergence is to meet and form relationships with other Presentation Sisters and Associates across North America. Various cross-congregational organizing committees perform behind-the-scenes work, both the Steering Committee (and their sub-committees) and the Planning Committee, reflect the diversity, intelligence and creativity of our sisters and associates as we all seek to re-invent our Presentation charism for our own time.
